Physical Properties

The alloy has high plasticity at room temperature, good cold stamping performance, but the welding performance is not good. The alloy is a ferrite structure after annealing treatment, the structure is unstable during use, 475℃ is its brittle temperature zone, long-term heating will lead to coarse grains.

Resistance and temperature characteristics

0Cr21Al4 alloy has high resistivity and moderate temperature coefficient. It can maintain good oxidation resistance and thermal strength below 800 ° C.

Application

Due to the properties of 0Cr21Al4 alloy, it is mainly used as a heating element in heat treatment furnaces below 750 ° C. In addition, it can also be used for low-grade electric heat pipes and low-grade household electric heaters, as well as resistance bands in resistance boxes.
